Hello there, I’m Vanessa

Mathematics Student at Imperial College London, Founder of ProjectInsight, Speaker and Women in STEM advocate

Who am I and What do I do?

I am a 19 year old Mathematics Student at Imperial College London, with a passion for STEM. I do talks around the country that vary from Making the Most of a Mentor to the best way to win a Game Show using maths to how we can help to inspire more girls to study a STEM subject, as well as running science clubs and workshops. I believe in making STEM, particularly mathematics accessible to all, not only in terms of resources but also in its teaching, explanations and sharing and if you want to read more about this, head to my blog!

Media and Articles

Every so often, someone finds me interesting enough to write something about me. Some of these are linked below!

Talks and things like that

As well as my passion for STEM, I have a very prominent love for talking. The combination of the two has lead me to situations where I have been fortunate enough to give talks and take part in panels in schools, in Parliament,

at Conferences, at prestigious universities and one of my most proud moments being, presenting to HRH Princess Anne. If you would like to know more about this, visit my talks page or contact me.
